Swiss Ephemeris (astronomical calculations)

JyotishWay's birth-chart, Panchang, and compatibility calculations are powered by the Swiss Ephemeris library, accessed via the Python bindings pyswisseph.

• Our status: No commercial Swiss Ephemeris license on file — we comply via AGPL-3.0

Under AGPL-3.0 §13 (Remote Network Interaction), users who interact with our ephemeris service over a network are offered the Corresponding Source of the engine as deployed:

JyotishWay application code

The JyotishWay mobile app, web frontend, and .NET API are proprietary. Only the ephemeris engine listed above is offered under AGPL-3.0. AI interpretation layers (Claude / OpenAI) are separate third-party services governed by their respective terms.
