Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By using the JyotishWay website or mobile app (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

JyotishWay provides Vedic astrology charts, readings, and related content generated through astronomical calculation and AI. Some features are free; others require a paid subscription or one-time purchase.

3. Not professional advice

Astrology content is provided for guidance, reflection, and entertainment. It is not a substitute for professional medical, legal, financial, psychological, or other advice. Decisions you make based on the Service are your own responsibility.

4. Accounts

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your account secure. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your country to make purchases.

5. Payments & subscriptions

Web reports and credit packs are processed via Razorpay. Mobile subscriptions and digital goods are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play via RevenueCat.
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Manage or cancel renewals through your app store account (mobile) or by contacting us (web).
Refunds are handled according to the policy of the relevant store or processor, and applicable law.
Astrologer consultations, where offered, are a real-world service and may be billed separately.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including: reverse-engineering it, scraping it, abusing the AI chat, attempting to disrupt it, or using it to violate any law or another person’s rights.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, its content, and branding are owned by JyotishWay or its licensors. Astronomical calculations use the Swiss Ephemeris (© Astrodienst AG) under the AGPL-3.0 license; the corresponding engine source is published separately as required by that license. You may use the Service for personal, non-commercial use.

8. Disclaimers & liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, JyotishWay is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and request account deletion. We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are breached.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
